Banko Dhadhato is a village in Gedeb, south of Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia's Gedeo Zone. Its cooperative processes coffee for over 1,100 farmers across 900 hectares and belongs to the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers' Cooperative Union (YCFCU), which has operated since 2002 with 28 stations and 45,000+ members.
Gedeo is one of Ethiopia's most densely populated regions. Each primary cooperative elects its own executive committee to oversee investments and payments, while YCFCU appoints professional managers to supervise harvest and processing. All cooperatives are certified organic and fairtrade.
Since its establishment, YCFCU has transformed members' livelihoods. Previously, primary cooperatives struggled with debt and lacked credibility to access financing. The union now helps cooperatives build financial stability, establish credibility with lending institutions, and maintain adequate working capital for sustainable operations.

We typically ship orders out within 1-2 business days of ordering. From there shipping may take up to 3-5 business days, but is often faster, depending on where you are in the county. For American orders shipping can take between 7-14 business days.

In Canada we typically ship using Canada Post expedited parcel, while in the US we use UPS standard parcel.
