Nestled in the Ngariama community of Kirinyaga County on the slopes of Mount Kenya, Kiamugumo Factory serves smallholder farmers who deliver ripe coffee cherries for washing and drying using glacier-fed water from the Kii River. Managed by a dedicated local team, the factory emphasizes quality processing, environmental care, and farmer education through training programs and demonstration plots. The surrounding farms, typically 1–2 hectares, thrive in rich volcanic soils and cool mountain air ideal for coffee cultivation. While coffee remains the region’s main livelihood, Kiamugumo also faces challenges such as rural depopulation and limited access to education, making its commitment to sustainable development especially vital.

We typically ship orders out within 1-2 business days of ordering. From there shipping may take up to 3-5 business days, but is often faster, depending on where you are in the county. For American orders shipping can take between 7-14 business days.

In Canada we typically ship using Canada Post expedited parcel, while in the US we use UPS standard parcel.
